Google Signin Browser do not close after Signin #24

I am using the plugin to authenticate with firebase. When I try to use Google Sign in method the browser comes up as expected however after completing the authentication the tab page do not close and return to calling page.
can you help in guiding what could be wrong.
My project Shared is target net standard 2.
