[Bug] SysDVR Linux Flatpak Version isnt shown in apps menu on gnome #336
Comments
I don't really use linux as main os so i didn't notice. At first i assumed this was due to a lack of a desktop file however checking the flatpak build there is one. See https://github.com/exelix11/SysDVR/blob/master/Client/Platform/Linux/com.github.exelix11.sysdvr.desktop Not sure what's the issue here, may need help from someone who knows flatpak better. |
The lack of desktop file is indeed the issue: it was added in #322, after the latest version (6.1.1) was released. As soon as a new version is ready to be released, it should include the desktop file, fixing this issue. |
Damn i forgot. I started a new flatpack build, OP can you check if this works on your distro ? https://github.com/exelix11/SysDVR/actions/runs/13154039164 I plan a release soon enough since the blocker of arm32 support is now completed edit, it failed. Hopefully this one works: https://github.com/exelix11/SysDVR/actions/runs/13155884547 |
alright , ill try it. |
can confirm the desktop entry is added and works (linux mint) |
This is now released, should work as expected. |
