@bmann, the current set of organizers in Forum "planners" are from the Council of Prague. There is perhaps one or two discussions appertaining to that Council.

Should we create add/remove from this group ahead of each Council, which would change who can view older discussions?

My current thinking is to leave current participants for a time period, enabling them to advise the next Council planners.

Another question is about access to Google Docs / Sheets related to the 2018 Council of Prague, particularly the sponsor-related docs. Should the 2019 Council of Paris planners have access to that information?

This link is "View only" top level folder for all EthMagicians stuff that I've touched -- https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1s4yqkN41DCow5jcG7KjhoZGxH_nIs5Y3

There are sub folders per council.

I would suggest GDoc stuff follow the pattern here. I can give edit control of a 2019-03 Council of Paris to Tomislav, Eternian, others as needed.

I have updated the Infrastructure page with these details https://github.com/ethereum-magicians/scrolls/wiki/Infrastructure

Back to the original question: there is the Council Volunteers group https://ethereum-magicians.org/groups/council-volunteers -- which anyone can join or leave, and it controls access to the members only Council Volunteers topic https://ethereum-magicians.org/c/fellowship-gatherings/council-volunteers

The above bit might be best put into a wiki page as well. I'm already getting DMs rather than public posts about Paris 2019.

Planners is effectively un-used, don't think we need it. A Sponsors group might be more helpful.
