@iwonako Espressif did not really touch the repo for 3 years, when v5-stable was not even out. So no, it is not solved and likely never be.

You can try these steps and see where it gets you: #278 (comment)

I also managed to get it somewhat working on my fork, with absolutelly no guarante whatsoever: https://github.com/mmrein/esp-mdf.

I think fzboffice also ended up forking and made it compatible themselves as I've used some inspiration from their idf5 branch in my fork.
