EPM is not a viable package manager. A good package manager must be
robust
fast
reliable
backed by a large community
and that's just not true for EPM. I'm not an expert in package management by any means whatsoever, and don't want to end up with something like Oh-my-zsh where the package manager is just thinly-veiled wget or curl. Actual installation scripts, dependency resolving, version management, etc. are not present in EPM and will not be implemented in the future.
