The Energia installation has currently

  • 9 different releases of DSlite: 6.2.1.1594, 6.2.1.1624, 7.1.0.1917, 7.2.0.2096, 7.4.0.1099, 8.0.0.1202, 8.2.0.1400, 9.1.0.1655 and 9.2.0.1723;
  • 3 different releases of arm-none-eabi-gcc: 4.8.4-20140725, 6.3.1-20170620, 8.3.1-20190703;
  • 3 different releases of ino2cpp: 1.0.2, 1.0.3 and 1.0.6;
  • 5 different releases of msp430-gcc: 4.6.4, 4.6.6, 6.4.0.32, 7.3.1.24 and 7.3.2.154.

Consolidating those releases and keeping only one would save space and ease maintenance.
