At the moment there's a nasty jump when tapping on a permalink, even if it's in the same room and close by.
Should we consider scrolling the timeline to converge on the new location (if it's spatially close), to help the user understand what's going on and how far back in time they're going?
P.S. I thought i saw this happen once, but perhaps i imagined it.
