Hide sidebars

hello, I've been using element for a long time, and I can't remember the last time I've used the two sidebars at the left which can't be hidden, I've always used CTRL+K to quickly navigate directly to the room I want, without menu navigation. What I'm constantly reminded of however, is the space I'm losing because of those two sidebars.

It is also annoying that, even when the room sidebar is resized to the minimum, when the window is resized, it gets resized for no reason, I use a tiling window manager, so that bar constantly extends and I need to resize it back.

Can we have an option or a hotkey to permanently hide those?
