  • Version: 7.6.0 latest snapshot
  • Operating System: Linux tar
  • Config File (if you have sensitive info, please remove it):
    Logstash security enabled.
  • Sample Data:
  • Steps to Reproduce:
    Run bin/logstash

[main] Logstash - java.lang.IllegalStateException: Logstash stopped processing because of an error: (NoMethodError) undefined method `deep_merge' for #Hash:0x51aa8c0f

It looks like the i18n (internationalization) gem had an issue with its 1.8.0 release, which was bundled in the most recent 7.6.0 snapshot build ruby-i18n/i18n#507

That issue has since been resolved with i18n's v1.8.1, released several hours ago, and the fix should automatically make its way into our next snapshot build.

Note this also effects 7.5.1, 7.4.x, and other older releases.
