Currently, per the UI framework, sortable columns have an arrow to show the direction of the sort that has been applied. This arrow is applied once a column has been clicked on.
However, there is no indication that a column is sortable to begin with. To aid discoverability I wonder if we should show a grayed out sort icon prior to sorting, and then replace it with the corresponding ascending or descending icon upon click.
