Editable data sources for visualizations

Describe the feature:

Please allow the data source field in visualizations to be edited after the visualization is created.

Workarounds

• Error-prone method: Export; Find and replace the double quoted ("...", not ...) references of the old data source; Import. Requires text editor setup with NDJSON highlighting, or sed, not for the faint of heart.
• Slow method: Create a new visualization and painstakingly apply the entire desired configuration by GUI.

This is possible already on a per visualization basis in Lens. Are you looking for a way to bulk-change the data source?
