Misc

  • Create Buildkite service account for API tokens
    • Replace token for Agent Manager
    • Replace token for PR bot
    • Replace token for Build bot
  • Create new agent tokens to use instead of the default one
    • One for agent manager
    • One for packer images, easily update-able (generate and store in vault via terraform)
  • ITSec requirements and processes
  • Vault Retries
  • Setup / bootstrap / yarn retries
  • Document everything
  • Artifacts to GCS?
  • Why is git clone kinda slow, even with mirrors?
  • Create a secrets inventory (not the values) - how secrets are used, what uses them, how to rotate, etc
  • Remove hard-coded GCP project IDs/numbers from various node projects
  • Publish kibana-buildkite-library packages for better dependency management
  • Create CI for kibana-buildkite-library
  • Clean up branches etc in the main repo
  • Vault logins expire when agent online for a long time
  • 10min fork clone
