We appreciate the intention behind this, but we have no current plans to migrate any part of Kibana to angular 2.
We are exploring some fundamental changes to Kibana's architecture in order to support us making changes with the rendering tools without as significant of an impact as it is today, but until that's done, it'd be premature to start throwing around any specific new tool like angular 2.
Now that angular 2 has been released and is stable, are there any plans to upgrade kibana to use angular 2?
I would think that an application as complex as kibana would have significant performance benefits from switching to angular 2.
