Kibana version: 7.12.0

Elasticsearch version: 7.12.0

Server OS version: darwin_x86_64

Browser version: chrome latest

Browser OS version: OS X

Original install method (e.g. download page, yum, from source, etc.): from staging

Describe the bug: If user clicks on apply filter to current view on a timeseries chart on dashboard - Kibana changes the timepicker to absolute time range and the dashboard reflects the current view of the time. After this if user wants to go back to where they started clicking back button in browser automatically changes the timepicker to 15 minutes instead last time range.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install and open logs sample data dashboard - notice that timepicker is set to last 7 days
  2. Create a drilldown on the panel "[Logs] Response Codes Over Time + Annotations" (I created mine for navigating to another dashboard) - save it
  3. Now brush on the chart - Kibana displays two actions - apply filter to current view or navigate to your drilldown
  4. Click on "apply filter to current view"
  5. Kibana applies the filter and dashboard is updated
  6. Click browser back button because you don't to want to filter the data anymore
  7. Kibana doesn't update correctly instead dashboard's timepicker gets changed to last 15 minutes.

Please note this seems to be working fine if there are no drilldown(?)
