Plugin binary missing in the bin folder

None of the documentation steps are possible due to the missing plugin installer

Assuming this has been created and is just a missing component.

The plugin command is a sub-command of bin/kibana. There isn't a separate plugin binary.

Confirmation that timelion also doesn't follow the documented process allowing for offline install.

Not sure what you mean @bigtoerag, timelion does support offline install.

Sorted via home install on Ubuntu then clone to my offline RH6.5 client machine. Crisis averted for customer demo.
