Currently, matching query terms are not highlighted in a dashboard. Basically, the ad-hoc highlighting functionality of the Discover mode is not available in a dashboard.

That is, when I type a query in the query box, I want relevant matching terms to be highlighted in a "Search" visualization that is part of the dashboard.

This is key functionality for anybody trying to use Kibana while exploring text collections.
