Controls Visualization Custom filtering

Describe the feature:
For the Controls Visualization type it would be nice having the option to order the ascending, descending or custom since i have a scripted field with the results in a different order than i would like. Additionally, the option to create custom filters rather than using specific fields would be a great addition expanding on my previous comment using scripted fields, as it would allow me to have a select list of filters to choose from and reduce the amount of processing i already have to do for generating a dashboard since it wouldn't have to process the data fields used in the controls visualization

Adding more context. Occasionally users need to have input control with selected values that are selected manually or based on a filter condition (show only domains from the US). It would be good to allow users to leverage the filters in kibana to narrow the input control values.

Users can then apply a filter and use it as a condition (example above) or even filter only to values they are interested manually (filter to only show US, Germany, and Denmark in the country input control(
