We just recently merged the draw filter by geo_point / geo_shape feature (#33686) and it's possible a global version is on the horizon (#35482). It'd be great to support additional spatial relations when building these filters. Because these default to filter pills, we're limited to the experience the query bar offers today. You cannot draw two polygons and filter on the points / shapes that fall within the two polygons.

We should discuss a UI/UX around adding this type of logic and what types of filters we can theoretically build.

Closing, geo_shape fields have allowed for selecting the spatial relationship for some time. Geo_point support recently added by #96849
