has been addressed in 7.5.0 by #50139. |
Bumping this thread up as the linked PR doesn't put a Cloud console link on the page when no ML nodes are running. Tested on This is causing confusion to Cloud users as there's no in-product guidance to let users know how to enable ML nodes. |
I've tested this with 7.7.0 on Cloud, when ML is disabled I see the appropriate warning. @osmanis what configuration are you using to see this behaviour? |

It's a standard Cloud deployment where I didn't deviate from any of the default settings after creation. |
When running on Elastic Cloud we have the opportunity to tailor error messages and make them more useful.

Some more research required as to scope of this ticket. We already know if we are running in EC, but also need to investigate how we find url link to console.
