I think most people don't realize ES document counts are approximate (at least in the case of the terms aggregation) and I wonder if there is a way to alert them to this?

eg. http://www.elasticsearch.org/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/current/search-aggregations-bucket-terms-aggregation.html

I don't have any great idea how, apart from error bars or shadow bars for doc_count_error_upper_bound, but these are only available when ordered by descending document count. Any other ideas?

Any suggestions for how to display this visually? We aren't using errors bars too much in visualizations today

In Lens we display a warning about the approximate terms, the users can turn on the accuracy switch to have better results
