Vertex distance based on connection thickness

Was playing with some data today and thought that it might be useful if we could base vertex distance on the thickness of each connection.

Thought I think it'd be better if vertices with thinner connections were further away, and thicker ones closer. Basically a thicker connection is "denser" and causes the connected vertices to be closer together.

This sort of distance weighting highlights the strength of the relationship and would feel more natural (at least, I feel it would).
