Feature Request - New Control: User defined variable

Describe the feature:

Add a control to the dashboard interface for the user to define an (integer) variable;
Provide an option to make the visualisations dependent on this variable

Describe a specific use case for the feature:

The user can dynamically decide on things in the visualisations on his own, for example:

1. granularity of the visualisations - the variable controls the number of top values shown in a graph
2. other definitions: The user can define when a value is critical or non-critical (A field value greater than the number defined by the user is critical, a smaller field value is non-critical, the pie chart displays both dynamically depending on the value defined by the user)
