Hi developers,

Please, could it be possible to have an option (checkbox, yes/no) in a panel "settings" to :

  • Hide Panel when no data
By default, not active but letting people to activate this option.

Here is a use case :
We have dashboards wich display many panels representing "Flow of data". Each panel shows a specific "Flow of data".
Adding this option would be great because when filtering data on dashboard, only "Flow of data" concerned by the filters would display, and all useless panels would hide automatically.

Thank you very much
Regards,
François

I wonder if #170395 would solve your problem? Once we implement this, your panels will no longer show "no data" if a filter does not apply. It's further in the future, but #1547 also seems like it would be a good solution for your use case :)

Closing for now since I believe the above two issues would work for this, but please feel free to comment if I missed something!
