[Security Solution] Need to Refresh the case at every time we update the description of cases to show updated value while editing Description #131912

Describe the bug
Need to Refresh the case at every time we update the description of cases to show updated value while editing Description.

Build Details

Version:8.3.0-SNAPSHOT
BUILD: 52512
COMMIT: df225b213b188c81888141cee2ec191424fc0649

Pre-conditions:

  1. Elastic Search should be up and running
  2. Kibana should be up and running
  3. Cases should be created.

Steps

  1. Navigate to cases tab.
  2. Click on prerequisite case.
  3. Click on ... and then click on edit description icon.
  4. Now update the description value and save it.
  5. observe that updated value is reflected.
  6. Now, again perform step 2 to 3.
  7. Observe that previously updated value not displayed on edit description box instead description value show which was write while creating cases.
  8. Now refresh the case.
  9. Now, again perform step 2 to 3
  10. Observe that updated description value reflected in description edit box.

Note : No need to required Refresh the case at every time we update the description of cases to show updated value while editing Description in 8.2.0 build.

Current behavior:
Need to Refresh the case at every time we update the description of cases to show updated value while editing Description

Expected behavior:
No need to Refresh the case at every time we update the description of cases to show updated value while editing Description instead it will reflected automatically.

Hi @academo @cnasikas,

We have validated above issue on Main branch and it's working fine ✅.

  • Updated description of the cases is shown after editing and saving without refreshing the cases on the Cases page.

Build Details:

Branch: Main branch
