Kibana version: 5.4.0

Elasticsearch version: 5.4.0

Server OS version: UBUNTU 16.04

Browser version: CHROME Version 58.0.3029.110 (64-bit)

Browser OS version: WINDOWS 10

Original install method (e.g. download page, yum, from source, etc.): apt-get

Description of the problem including expected versus actual behavior:
If you have a number of selected fields within a discovery view and you scroll down, the headings for the columns scroll with the data and hence you have to remember them .

Would it be possible to provide an option to make the graph and selected data headings static so that they don't scroll with the data?

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Discover over 500 items
  2. select 20 or so fields
  3. scroll down

Errors in browser console (if relevant):

Provide logs and/or server output (if relevant):

I like this idea! I agree that it's annoying not being able to see the header at all times.

Even i am facing the same issue.I have a discover visualization and have saved it on dashboard for displaying data in which i have large number of data so i am keeping 50 rows per page but when i scroll down the column headers disappear which is very inconvenient for the end user as he has to keep on scrolling up and down to check the column headers and data.
