Describe the bug:

When a color with opacity set to 0% is passed to the heatmap chart, this is interpreting the color stops as invalid colors, replacing them with the default red color.

Screenshot 2021-07-21 at 15 52 36

The problem seems to not apply for opacity values above 0%.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a Heatmap in Lens
  2. Open the metric panel, click on the palette and tweak a color stop to 0% opacity
  3. The relative cell color will change to red

Expected behavior:

The relative cell color should change to the correct transparent.
