Describe the feature:
Use video content within Kibana to help people learn how to use Elastic products.

Describe a specific use case for the feature:
Customer opens Lens for the first time and is not sure where to begin. The empty state provides a link for a "How-to" video titled "Creating your first visualization with Kibana Lens"

There is an existing set of short videos put out by the Education Services team. You can see them on the public website here: https://www.elastic.co/videos/training-how-to-series-stack and they are eager to embed them in the product experience.

Where are they stored?

The videos are hosted on and embeddable from both YouTube and Vidyard (as seen on the public site).

Where can we place them?

As part of #58506 , we explored a centralized library with in-context links. At this point, we could explore several places including, for example:

  • Getting to know Kibana -- link to from the home page
  • Creating your first visualization with Kibana Lens -- link to from the empty state in Lens
  • Exploring and querying your data -- link to from the upcoming Discover tour.
  • How to visualize geo data on a map -- link to from ?

Things to consider

  • The UI would need to accommodate for self-hosted instances that are firewalled from the internet.
  • In our limited testing conducted in [Meta] Kibana Onboarding #58506 there was an emerging, polarizing response to videos content. Some love it, some instantly reject it.

To whet your appetite, here's a very outdated glimpse of what video in Kibana could sorta look like.
