EQL: remaining tasks for 7.11

The following features/bugs are desired for 7.11:

• add wildcard pattern to : operator (EQL: Add wildcard pattern to : operator #65154)
• descending / tail ordering by default (EQL: Most recent matches returned by default #58646)
• multiple arg for : and wildcard / regex (EQL: Support multiple parameters for string #64388)
• add support for ? in wildcard pattern for : operator (EQL: Add ? support (match single char) to wildcard functionality in : operator #65536)
• enable all correctness tests (EQL: Enable all correctness tests #65155)

Outside the scope but would be nice to have (moved after 7.11):

• a better language construct (keyword?) for wildcard / regex matching for one and multiple values (EQL: Introduce like/matches keywords #64387)
• multi-value / array matching
• case-insensitive functions
