super confused :) how the heck do I get the venting fan to work?!

So I have a hood from these jokers (I say jokers because between the rate limits and the complexity of just wanting to turn a fan on...someone got carried away at Thermador.

If anyone has an automation example, I'd love it. I cannot find on anywhere on Github.

It looks to me like I have to

1 - turn on : switch.thermador_hmwb361ws_68a40e672373_bsh_common_setting_powerstate
2 - set : select.thermador_hmwb361ws_68a40e672373_cooking_common_option_hood_ventinglevel
3 - set : select.thermador_hmwb361ws_68a40e672373_programs
4 - push: button.thermador_hmwb361ws_68a40e672373_start_pause

Can that possibly be right? Seems very complicated... what do people do in their setups?

I don't know about your hood but some other I've seen don't allow selecting a program unless it's directly when starting it, so you should probably use the start_program service.

ooo that fam template is a smart idea!!! I will see if I can make that work for me and then it will just act like a normal fan.

So the start program service (action) doesnt work for me, it used to, no idea what changed. I noticed the automation was no longer working, this is what I have to do now.
