Is this action still supported? #93
Comments
@keevie I noticed that you've forked the action and added support for v16: https://github.com/frameable/beanstalk-deploy Do you plan on maintaining your fork in the long run? |
I'm really sorry to report this but it looks like Einar passed away earlier this year: |
You are correct. My name is Gissur and I have assumed stewardship over Einar's GitHub account on behalf of his widow. I'll do my best to keep the lights on and then we'll see how things progress. |
@buckett I wasn't planning on it, but am open to that if it makes sense! For now it seems like we'll be okay here. |
Hi, @gzur sorry for your loss, and thank you for doing your best to keep his memory, work, and this project going. I stumbled upon this issue while looking for an update to add node 20 support, now that GH Actions is deprecating node 16. I noticed that repo this has seen little to no change recently. At the same time, it still shows up as the top on GH Marketplace as the top result when you search for things like "Beanstalk". I would suggest either inviting some maintainers to keep this repo moving forward (which can be time consuming initially) or simply flagging the repo as archived, so the community knows not to expect updated to it going forward. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help. Thanks |
Hiya @einaregilsson
Are you still looking to support this project? I ask because there doesn't seem to have been any activity in this repository from you since the end of 2021. In the near future this action will need to be updated to address the end of support for Node 12 (#92) and I thought I'd get the discussion started before is become critical.
This project has been really useful for us and if there's some help we could provide do shout.
