Add write_raw_rds function

Problem:
Certain data sources are vulnerable to service shutoffs (e.g. funding cuts, loss of account access, etc). The workflow needs to be robust to loss of access to these services.

Potential Solution:
Write upstream objects to the repo as .rds objects then read in those objects.
