Model Description

The model represents manufacturing capability information used in Manufacturing as a Service by customers and suppliers/manufacturers alike. As such, the aspect model will be used on registration of production capabilities and the request of production capabilities, which involves the interpretation and creation of the model by multiple technological components. The aspect model is aimed to cover capability, process, product, production resources and property description from the start and will in further versions be enhanced by defining relevant aspects in more detail, like bill of process and production resources.

Relevant Standards

There is a discussion paper of the Platform I4.0 which suggests the model as we intent to describe: CSS+

Example Data

This is one of the APIs which will consume the standardized model: Asset Management Service API
