EBI Visual Framework v1.2 feature roadmap and timeline

Planning is starting for v1.2 to be released in summer 2017 (likely late summer).

Here's a rundown of what's likely to be addressed:

• 7 Feb: Review feature list for approval at the WGC meeting
• Late Feb: dev testing releases for v1.2 to begin
• March: bi-weekly clinics to begin
• Mid April: first alpha
• 2 May WGC: Last alpha
• Mid-May: First beta, feature freeze
• 6 June WGC: Release candidate
• Mid-June: Switch pattern library to v1.2
• Late July: Target release

Of note:

Alpha 4 has now been released and pending next week's discussion at the Web Guidelines Committee we could have a first beta in early/mid May.
