As coturn is now included in official BigBlueButton installation (https://docs.bigbluebutton.org/administration/turn-server/), how does this affect this role? Is there an option so that the standard installation can be used or is an external coturn instance necessary?

@cherbst valid point.
The new installation of coturn now also installs HAproxy so coturn can run on port 443 as well as BBB itself.
This was one of the main issues with the included coturn which was not able to run on 443 out of the box.

I will look into it, thanks for pointing this out :)
