                    <p>Marek is a true R hacker since the Paleozoic era of R_1.4.0. Author of a top-selling Polish book on R programming and the stringi package, which is among the top 10 most downloaded R extensions. Marek has a Ph.D. in computer science and specializes in data aggregation and fusion. Currently an assistant professor at the Systems Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences as well as at the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Science, Warsaw University of Technology, Poland and an R, Rcpp, Python, and Cython trainer at Data Science Retreat, Berlin.</p>
