Offline installation

I would like to install collectbeat offline.
But, this package seems to need online access to github.

Is there any way to install collectbeat offline?

Like where do you want collectbeat to be running, would it be ok for you to just git clone the repository to a kind of shared storage, and so on...

"Off-line" alone didn't make sense to me as you'd need to give collectbeat some kind of network acess to send logs and metrics to Elasticsearch, anyway.
