Method to create dropdown lists

Wonder if it would be anyone interested in having a method to create dropdown lists from array?

I'm asking this because i had really a bad time today scavenging inside embebbed HTML in forum shortcodes only to find out that some classes were not in LI tag as they should be, but instead in the A tag, in order for them to work in BS...

Hardcoded HTML inside PHP is really a headache in E107....
You struggle a lot just to customize a simple dropdown or button....

I know exactly what you are talking about... maybe it would be nice if all links are build in the same way, li = nav-item, a = nav-link, dropdown link = dropdown-item etc... when it is standard you can adapt to it, now you never know which chocolate you get... And do not forget, e107 = a bootstrap cms... :-)

Even the method could allow non BS to be rendered, it would rely on templates easy to adapt and fully customizable...
