In System Modeler, we get a different initialization for the PlanarMechanics.GearComponents.Examples.PlanetaryGear model, when comparing with the reference results. The result from System Modeler also seems reasonable.

The initialization problem in the model seems to be underdetermined. We get the same result as the reference if we set the start value of planetary.bearing_Planet.w = -0.5. Maybe the initialization problem can be more explicitly specified in the example model to give the same results in more tools?
