When you right click while in the slide then click (can either be left click or right click) somewhere else in the slide, a line is drawn if you are on the pencil tool. This also occurs with any of the other drawing tools, but draws whatever the tool is supposed to draw instead (i.e. square, circle, arrow, etc.)
