Looks like Linux binaries snapshots are moved to new location: https://commondatastorage.googleapis.com/chromium-browser-snapshots/index.html?prefix=Linux_ChromiumOS_Full/
New location should be verified as a correct one for Linux binaries and appropriate code changes should be done.

Seems easier way to get latest chromium is via https://download-chromium.appspot.com/, e.g. https://download-chromium.appspot.com/dl/Mac?type=snapshots

Thank you, @tvojtech. It does really look easy. I will verify if it works properly for Linux and update the code.
Thank you for your help!
P.S. @tvojtech if you got some time, it would be great if you could make a PR.
Good luck ;)

On this note, does anyone know why the Linux binaries are approx. twice the size of the OS X binaries?
Is there a way to reduce this?

@tcz For me, latest version is only ~20MB larger than MacOS one (~80MB against ~100MB)

Looks like they are back to old location of Linux binaries. So, nothing is needed to be changed for the moment.
