Hi, thanks for writing this lib!

Wondering if there's a way to store the private key as an environment variable instead?

Similar to how passport does this with "PASSPORT_PRIVATE_KEY".

Hi @joshdillner, we no longer use this package in our projects but we're open to PR for new features!
I see passport implemented this feature here.
You could take inspiration and propose a PR.

If you do, remember to add tests and document the feature into the readme :)
