@joperezr @Anipik I reverted the Microsoft.DotNet.Compatibility version upgrade as it results in PackageValidation errors (because of the not up-to-date suppression files). I will disable the subscription now temporarily as well until we figured out what to do about the suppression files: #58208 (comment) |

@ViktorHofer From what I've seen, the type of MacOS hosted pool machine we get has a direct impact on build times. There are two options I can think of that would improve the current state: 1.) Build each test suite on helix. I believe we would significantly reduce build times and the overall size we upload to helix. I suspect the whole iOS pipeline would be faster, but we would need to prove that out first. Wasm-aot works this way currently and we should be able to leverage a great deal of what they have. 2.) Split archiving tests across multiple build machines. We would need to define a way to split what gets built from tests.proj up based on however many build machines we want to use. I don't know how realistic this is given our resource issues w/ the hosted pool. |
