Students make several exercises for a test or exam. If a large similarity is detected with the same students across multiple exercises, the probability of plagiarism increases. We used MOSSUM in the past for this, in combination with MOSS. One exercise is (most of the time) not enough to label the evaluation as plagiarism. We have to be sure.
