Being able to see when your bot is affected by an outage at the provider's side would keep bot builders and users in-the-loop when there is an outage. This could also deflect some bad light from OCS in those rare cases.

  • Subscribe to provider statuses using a webhook. See the OpenAI's status page for instance. OpenAI does have a status API. We should see if other providers have the same.
  • Show bot builders when there are issues with the provider API
  • Show bot builders and participants when the provider's API is down
