GitHub Organization Name Change Script 🚛

What is this?

This is a simple bash script intended to help folks update their git remotes when a GitHub organization undergoes a name change. The tool updates the default git remote (origin) for all git repositories directly inside the specified directory. The git remotes are updated by replacing instances of old_org_name with new_org_name.

update_git_repos.sh old_org_name new_org_name directory
