To allow children to explore the receiver with less or no supervision it would be great if we could have a menu item that when activated requires a login via the touch screen in order to enable the transmitter. I know the transmitter can already be disabled but it is not password protected and clever kids can find it. I was thinking that if in locked state a popup could appear at power on which allows the password to be entered or skipped. If skipped it is receive only. Maybe certain menu items can also be inaccessible in that state.
