Snapping to grid

Would be great to have a possibility to snap to a grid while dragging.
Would you consider adding such a feature at some point?

Certainly I can consider it. I'm curious - what benefit does snapping to a grid provide?

I'm using your brilliant piece of code to do a slider (value choice). The values are discrete and limited (let's call them levels), but of course I cannot make each level only 1px wide.

So snapping would save me, but I dream of snapping with a smooth animation between :)
