I am trying to learn how to use this library to create DIDs but I don't see a way to add a verificationMethod field on the DID document.

Also it is very unclear to me how a DID's ownership is verified. How is this library using the publicKeys provided to sign a DID document, etc? There isn't enough documentation to understand this well.
