When I download and install Decentraland from the official decentraland.org website, its desktop icon indicates that it requires elevation to run (the shield badge):

Indeed, when I run it, I'm asked for admin privileges.

This is beyond unacceptable. It is awful user experience, it means non-admin users cannot run the game, and it means an attacker could take over the computer through Decentraland.
