I've myself have run into a problem when playing in a party of more than 2 player. If you seek for a map, you never know what is the max players on it. The idea is to add a filter function to choose specific options for a map such as: Player amount, Mode (novice, moderate and so on)

I think this would be difficult to specify. Some maps might works great with 2, but be 10 times harder with 3, and then same as with 2 players again with 4 players. Maybe the best would be to have a small graph of the distribution of team sizes on finishes, but that can also be distorted on faily maps where they played the entire map with 4 and lost 1 in the end.
You can specify 3 player maps and 4 player maps, but the thing is while scrolling the page, you don't know if map is 2p max. It can be specified as (No limit, Solo, 2p, 3p etc) or there could be recommended amount of players. The issue is that you don't know if map is 2p max before you enter it and try /team 1 with 3 players.
